On Thursday morning, Hirapur police station brought the accused out of the police station before presenting them in the court. According to police sources, two youths named Saayan and Mah Iqbal from Ismail Shastri Nagar area were arrested on Wednesday night on the charges of theft of mobile phone and money. Eyewitnesses said that on Thursday morning before taking him to the Asansol court, he was tied around his waist and walked from Hirapur police station to Burnpur bus stand. Many people present at the spot were shocked to see this scene. A wide discussion has started in the area regarding this issue. But no official response was received from the police administration on this matter. The investigation into the complaint filed against the accused is ongoing. Further legal action will be taken as per the court's instructions.
