BJP's Asansol North Center candidate Krishnandu Mukherjee and Congress candidate Prasenaji Puithundi reached the hospital in this incident. However, Trinamool Congress State Secretary Bhi Shibdasan Dashu is unhappy considering this incident as a political murder. His statement, "Unreasonably this incident is being politicized.
