Asansol, On Saturday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) protested in a unique way against Asansol MP Shatrughan Sinha of Trinamool Congress in Andal of West Bardhaman. BJP workers reached Ukhada police station under Andal police station and lodged a symbolic 'missing diary' in the name of the MP. BJP alleges that Shatrughan Sinha is not active in the area since the Lok Sabha elections and the general public is not able to contact him with their problems. The party says that the MPs have been away from public relations for a long time, due to which resentment is increasing among the people. If people are to be believed, then letters from the MP are required for various types of works and problems, but even after visiting the MP's office repeatedly, none of their work is being done, some personnel sitting in the MP's office do not listen to them nor do any work for them, and also they send them away from the office on some pretext or the other, due to which people are very angry towards the MP. BJP leader Dayal Chatterjee said that MPs are not visible in the area after the political change in the state. He alleged that the public is not able to reach their elected representatives. For this reason, to attract the attention of the administration, a symbolic missing report was lodged with the police and protest was expressed. After this incident, the stir in the politics of Paschim Bardhaman has intensified. Till the time of writing, there was no official response from Trinamool Congress in this matter. BJP is calling it an issue of distance of public representatives from the public, whereas now the eyes of political circles are fixed on Trinamool's answer.
