Fearless Bengali, Asansol/Kulti: Trinamool Congress organized protest programs in various areas of West Bengal district on Saturday in protest against the allegation of firing Abhishek Banerjee, National General Editor of All India Trinamool Congress. Protest meetings, sit-ins and rallies are organized in the presence of party leadership and workers-supporters in Asansol and Kulteeti. Protests were organized under the initiative of Trinamool Congress at the clock tower adjacent to the Asansol court, at the foot of the Mahatma Gandhi Statue. District President Narendranath Chakraborty, former MLA Hare Ram Singh, Asansol chief and MLA Bidhan Upadhyay along with other party leaders and workers were present in the programme. Trinamool leadership came out from the protest platform against the BJP government at the Centre. On the other hand, a separate location program was organized under the initiative of Trinamool Congress in Kulti Block in Niamatpur New Road area of ​​Kulti Assembly. TMC state leader Ujjal Chattopadhyay was present there. The party alleges that Abhishek Bandyopadhyay was heckled on his way to the party program in Sonarpur and this program has been organized in protest against that. At the end of the protest, when an attempt was made to block the road by burning tires at the New Road junction, the police stopped them, according to party sources. After this, Trinamool workers-supporters took out a protest march from New Road junction to Niyamatpur junction. Political heat spread in the area over the incident. But no response was received from BJP regarding the complaint.
