আসানসোলে ভুয়ো আইএসআই মার্কা হেলমেটের বিরুদ্ধে ট্রাফিক পুলিশের অভিযান

Nirbhik Bengali, Asansol: To ensure road safety, the traffic department of Asansol-Durgāpur Police Commissionerate conducted a special operation against helmets in BNR area of Asansol on Wednesday. In this campaign led by DC (Traffic) P.B.J.S., the shops of various helmet sellers were searched. During the operation, it was seen that in some shops, imitation or fake ISI marked helmets were being sold. Then the police seized those helmets. According to the traffic department, many times the counterfeit ISI brand helmets sold at low prices fail to provide adequate protection during an accident, resulting in increased risk of loss of life to the driver and passengers. That is why this campaign has been launched to stop the sale of unethical and unhygienic helmets in the market. According to police sources, such operations will continue in future also and necessary legal action will be taken against those involved in selling substandard or substandard helmets. The traffic police has appealed to the general public to use standard and valid ISI approved helmets.
