Fearless Bengali: Today an important meeting was held between the officials of Asansol Bus and Mini Bus Association and DC Traffic PBJI Satishar of Asansol-Durgapur Police Commissionerate. INTTU leader Raju Ahluwalia and several officials of the traffic department of the police commissionerate were present in the meeting. In the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on how to make Asansol city traffic free. DC Traffic PPG সতীশ said, currently about 99 percent toto registration has been completed and within the next few months all these totos will be given specific routes. He said that complaints often come from bus owners regarding toto movement. It is expected that once the route is decided, this problem will be solved within the next few months and the traffic in the city will reduce significantly. INTTU leader Raju Ahluwalia said, representatives of Bus and Mini Bus Association were present in today's meeting and it was jointly discussed how to keep Asansol traffic free. Besides, the drivers and employees associated with bus transport have been made aware, so that they cooperate in maintaining the healthy traffic system of the city. He further said, the issue of civil and decent behavior with passengers, especially women and children, was seriously discussed in today's meeting. Meanwhile, General Secretary of Asansol Bus Association, Bijan Mukherjee said that a proposal has been presented on his behalf in the meeting. He said that by starting the bus service from the new bus stand constructed at Kali Pahari, it would be possible to reduce the traffic congestion within the city to a great extent.
