Asansol, under the Annapurna scheme, to empower women and secure their future, the benefits of the scheme were transferred to the bank accounts of more than 1.3 crore women on Wednesday. On this occasion, the beneficiary women were provided with the benefits related to the scheme in the presence of senior government officials at the Asansol district (DM) office.
The program highlighted the importance of women's dignity, safety, and economic self-reliance as the government's top priorities. The speakers stated that the objective of the Annapurna scheme is to economically empower women and provide them with the necessary support to become self-reliant.
On this occasion, it was said that the central government and state government are effectively implementing various schemes for public welfare and women's empowerment. The Annapurna scheme is a symbol of this resolve, which is proving to be an important step towards improving the standard of living of women as well as building a self-reliant India.
A large number of beneficiary women, administrative officials, and other dignitaries were present at the program.
