Before the monsoon, high drain renovation starts in Asansol South, MLA Agnimitra Paul present

Nirbhik Bangla, Shyam Das, Asansol: The Asansol Municipality has taken the initiative to improve the drainage system before the start of the monsoon. On Saturday, the formal inauguration of the high drain renovation work was held in the Asansol South Assembly area. Asansol South MLA Agnimitra Paul, West Burdwan District Magistrate S. Pannabalam, and officials of Asansol Municipality were present at the program. Other administrative officials were also present at the event. According to the administration, the high drain renovation work has been started to reduce the problem of waterlogging during the monsoon and to ensure quick drainage. Efforts have been made to complete the work within the stipulated time. Local residents hope that if this project is implemented, the long-standing problem of waterlogging during the monsoon will decrease to a great extent.
