One arrested in Asansol bike theft case, recovered stolen motorcycle

Nirbhik Bangla, Asansol: Under the leadership of the IC of Asansol North police station, Kanyapur beat police have achieved significant success in a bike theft case. Apart from recovering a stolen motorcycle, the police have also arrested one accused. According to police sources, a motorcycle was stolen from in front of Sentrum Mall in Asansol on Friday. After receiving the complaint, the Kanyapur police started an investigation and launched an operation in Chunchuria village in the Nunia area based on the investigation. During the operation, the police recovered the stolen motorcycle and arrested a youth named Samit Bauri from his house. The accused was produced in the Asansol district court on Wednesday. Police sources said that it is being investigated whether anyone else is involved in the theft. The investigation into the entire incident is ongoing. The police's success has created a sense of relief in the area. Local residents have praised the police's promptness in recovering the stolen bike.
