At the beginning of his speech, he saluted Mother Kalyaneshwari and Mother Ghaghar Budi and called for the transformation of Bengali.
The Prime Minister said, “Gota Bengali is struggling for change today.” The issue of recovery of Asansol's lost industrial rubber and syndicate-free administration comes up again and again in his speech.
Referring to the glorious past of Asansol, he said, once this industrial area was known throughout the country for bicycle, glass, aluminum and coal industries. Youth from different parts of the country come here in search of employment. But at present that wheel has stopped, he expressed his regret. He assured that under the BJP government, Asansol will be brought back to the status of an industrial city and the patronage of coal mafia will be stopped.
Directly attacking the state's ruling party, All India Trinamool Congress, he alleges that Bengali is being left behind and the rights of the common people are being looted. He claims that the state has suffered economic decline under the rule of Congress, Left and TMC.
Highlighting the outline of industrial and infrastructure development, the Prime Minister said that big investment will be brought in Asansol-Durgāpur region through the central project. He talked about investment of Rs 45 thousand crore, gas pipeline connection, Vande Bharat Express train facility and modernization of Asansol station under Amrit Bharat project. He also mentioned the plan to upgrade ESI Hospital to a full-fledged medical college.
He further said, there is a plan to develop Asansol and Durgapur together as a 'Mega City'.
By attacking the state government on the issue of women's safety, he highlighted the meaningless incident. The Prime Minister also expressed concern over interference and border security. He said, under the BJP government, the border will be further secured and rule of law will be established.
Addressing the voters, he appealed, “Change is needed, BJP government wants.” According to him, this election is not just a fight to change the government, but to decide the future of Bengal's security and industrial development.
