Nirbhik Bengali, Asansol, June 4: A meeting of the Patient Welfare Committee was held on Thursday with the aim of upgrading the health services of Asansol District Hospital and reviewing various structural and administrative issues of the hospital. State Municipal Affairs and Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Department Minister Agnimitra Pal along with several senior officials of the health department and administration were present in the meeting. In the meeting, detailed discussions are held on the current situation of various services of the hospital, increasing facilities for patients, upgrading medical services and necessary infrastructure development. Along with this, importance is also given to the fact that the hospital services are run in a healthy and normal manner. Opinions and advice are taken from health department officials regarding various important matters of the hospital and they are reviewed. There is also discussion about providing better services to patients and taking necessary steps to make the health system more effective. It has been informed by the administration that in the future, such review meetings will be held regularly to make the health service stronger and more people-oriented in the interest of the public.
