Bengal Assembly Elections: Rs 15 lakh seized during Naka checking at Kalla Mor in Asansol

Asansol, In view of the West Bengal Assembly elections, the police and Election Commission team in Asansol seem to be fully alert. In the same sequence, Rs 15 lakh in cash was seized during Naka checking in Kalla Mod area under North police station. According to police officials, a white four-wheeler going from Raniganj towards Barakar was stopped on the basis of suspicion. On searching the vehicle, Rs 15 lakh in cash was recovered from the dashboard. When the driver was asked to provide valid documents for this amount, he could not give any satisfactory answer. Also, during interrogation he could not clarify the source of the money.
