Asansol Indoor Stadium witnessed a grand celebration of International Yoga Day

Nirbhik Bangla, Asansol: On the occasion of International Yoga Day, a colorful event was organized at the Asansol Indoor Stadium in Asansol by the women-run Roushni Yoga Center. More than a hundred women, girls, and adolescents associated with the center enthusiastically participated in yoga exercises and gained awareness about the importance of yoga for a healthy life.

The chief guests present at the event were Krishnendu Mukherjee, Jitendra Tiwari, Dr. Ajoy Poddar, S. Pannabalam, and Pranab Kumar. The guests mentioned yoga as India's ancient and valuable cultural heritage and called for incorporating yoga into daily life.

The event featured demonstrations and practice of various yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation.
