Asansol, West Bengal: Anup Majhi alias Lala, accused in Asansol's much talked about illegal coal smuggling case, appeared in the Asansol court on Thursday. Anoop Majhi reached the court premises along with his security personnel in a white Scorpio car and directly entered the CBI court, where the hearing of the case is scheduled. There was an atmosphere of commotion in the court premises regarding his appearance. Although there is no clarity on what decision will be taken during the hearing, but everyone is waiting for the order of the CBI court. It is noteworthy that the interim protection from arrest given to Anoop Majhi by the Supreme Court in this case has recently been withdrawn. Along with this, the Supreme Court has also given permission to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to interrogate Anoop Majhi in custody for 14 days.
