আসানসোল পৌর নিগমের কুলটি বোরো কার্যালয়ে কংগ্রেসের বিক্ষোভ, সাফাই কর্মী ও আশা কর্মীদের দাবি মানার আহ্বান

Nirbhik Bengali, Asansol, West Bengal: Kulti Block Congress protested at the Kulti Boro office of Asansol Municipal Corporation on Wednesday in support of the demands of the agitating sanitation workers and ASHA workers, putting forward multiple demands including increase in salary. It is noteworthy that under the Asansole Municipal Corporation of West Vandhaman district, hundreds of ASHA workers have withdrawn from work since December 23 and are taking part in the movement for various demands including increase in salary. On the other hand, for the last seven days, sanitation workers in ward 106 of Asansol Municipal Corporation have been protesting by stopping sanitation work demanding salary hike and other demands. Leaders and workers of Naman Kulti Block Congress protested at the Nagar Kulti Boro office at around 12 noon on Wednesday, expressing full support to the demands of these two groups - Aasha workers and sanitation workers. Kulti Block Congress President Sukant Das led this protest program. The demands of the Congress leadership are that the government will immediately have to accept the just demands of the sanitation workers and ASHA workers. Otherwise, the movement will be intensified in the coming days, a warning has been given. There was tension in the Kulti Boro office around the protest, police were deployed to keep the situation under control.
