Nirbheek Bengali, Asansol, Wednesday: As per the pre-planned programme, candidates for various assembly constituencies submitted their nominations through a huge rally on behalf of BJP in Asansol on Wednesday. Starting from Reality BNR area, it reached the District Magistrate's office via Rabindra Bhawan. Many BJP leaders including state president Shree Shak Bhattacharya and district president Debatnu Bhattacharya were present in this program. On this day, Asansol South Assembly Center candidate Agnimitra Paul and Kulti Assembly candidate Dr. Ajay Poddar submitted his nomination forms. Also present in the rally were Asansol North center candidate Krishnanendra Mukherjee, Jamudiyar candidate Dr. Bijan Mukherjee and Barabnir candidate Arijit Rai. It is noteworthy that Krishnandu Mukherjee had submitted his nomination in advance and participated in the rally that day, while Arjiji Rai, though present in the meeting, will submit his nomination tomorrow. Agnimitra Pal went to submit his nomination along with his supporters who had gathered at the door of the temple. The presence of a large number of workers-supporters can be seen in the rally. Today, Shamik Bhattacharya, while facing the journalists, alleged that the BJP took the initiative to submit Form 7 to exclude the names of illegal voters, but TMC workers snatched it away. He claimed that efforts were being made to deduct the names of thousands of illegal voters in Asansol South Assembly, but the forms were snatched from the car of candidate Agnimitra Pal. He clearly stated that until the names of illegal voters are removed from the voter list, the BJP's movement will continue. His words, “No SIR, no vote.”
