BJP leader Krishnendu Mukherjee's big allegation regarding PF scam of Asansol Municipal Corporation

Asansol: On Friday morning, sanitation workers of Asansol Municipal Corporation staged a strong protest demanding the outstanding amount of Provident Fund (PF). A few hours later, in a press conference held in the afternoon, BJP state leader Krishnendu Mukherjee made allegations of serious corruption against Asansol Municipal Corporation. Krishnendu Mukherjee claimed that large-scale corruption is going on in various departments of Asansol Municipal Corporation. He said that the sanitation workers were assured of their PF money, but till now they have not received their rightful amount. Not only the sanitation workers, but the PF of many employees of other departments of the Municipal Corporation is also outstanding for a long time. The BJP leader alleges that the PF money of the employees is going into the pockets of leaders and officials. Along with this, he also claimed that corruption is spread “like a mountain” in many departments of the Municipal Corporation. Krishnendu Mukherjee warned that if BJP government is formed in the state, then a thorough investigation will be conducted into all the corruption cases in Asansol Municipal Corporation and strict action will be taken against the culprits. However, till the time of writing this news, no official response has come from Asansol Municipal Corporation or the ruling party on this entire matter.
