Sanitation workers again protested in Asansol Municipal Corporation for salary increase. Safai workers claim that currently they are getting a salary of Rs 9 thousand and this salary will have to be increased to Rs 15 thousand. Apart from this, ISI-PF arrangements will have to be made starting from their identity cards, said the sanitation workers. They do not have any government facilities. If a sanitation worker dies, then they should not get any facilities or facilities. Vidhan Upa Dhyay said that last year the salary of the sanitation workers was increased. Therefore, we must think of giving facilities to those who keep the city clean, said Vidhan Upa Dhyay. He promised that in the coming days, the sanitation workers will be given supportive facilities as per the requirement. They will discuss the matter with the sanitation workers, Asansol Municipal Corporation's Deputy Legislative Officer and Chairman Amarnath Chattopadhyay. Safai workers said that if there is no result from that discussion, they may go for a bigger movement in the future.
