The incident has cast a shadow of mourning on the area. According to police and local sources, Ramen Saha was performing the duty of traffic signal at Dooberdi check post on Sunday night. At that time, a pickup van coming at high speed from the direction of Jharkhand lost control and hit him hard. Due to the shock, he was robbed on the spot. After the incident, the police and civic workers present there rescued Ramen Saha in a seriously injured condition and took him to the hospital. But the doctors declared him dead. After the accident, the killer car flees from the spot. Police have started searching for the killer car. According to the local people, Ramen Saha was known as a very polite and dutiful person. His untimely death has created an atmosphere of mourning among his colleagues and local residents.
