On Saturday, at 9:20 minutes, a cyclist died in a road accident, under the control of Banmaniya Choudhamatha police station. It is known that Abdul Khalek Miyan (৬০), a resident of নিগা village of নগরেঙঙ্গাটা police station, was returning home on a bicycle after taking the Habra train from Kolkata. He worked as a security guard in a company in Kolkata. On Saturday night at 9:20 am, a motorcycle traveling from Nagarabad to Nagar Ukhdah hits Abdul Khaleek, a cyclist, and falls to the side of the road. His head and body got injured in various parts. The local people rescued him and took him to Habrah Hospital. The doctors declared Abdul Khalek Miyan dead. After the van driver Mohammad Tahebub Miyan was brought to the hospital from the accident site, he recognized Abdul Khalek Miyan, a resident of the same village. News has been sent to the deceased's house. The police came and recovered the motorbike and bicycle from the accident site and took them to the police station. However, the motorbike driver could not be found. Police are investigating to see how the road accident occurred. However, despite the presence of bumpers at several places on the Habrā Nagar Ukhada road, bikes and goods vehicles move at high speed at night. Police are investigating whether this incident happened due to the high speed of the bike that day. After hearing about this incident, a shadow of mourning descended on Singha village.
