Asansol, Barabani: A class IX student drowned in a pond while bathing with his friends. This tragic incident has created widespread panic and a shadow of mourning in the Domohani Boro Bathan area under the Barabani police station jurisdiction. According to local sources, the deceased student's home is in Charandpur village. Instead of attending school regularly, he had gone to bathe in that pond with some local friends. According to preliminary estimates, he suddenly drowned either due to venturing into deep water while swimming or for some other reason. Terrified to see him disappear underwater, his friends initially searched for him themselves and later informed nearby people.
